Antex CC manufactures and distributes crochet knitted and woven polyester/spandex elastic as well as various other trimmings. We manufacture a wide range of elastic and non-elastic trims to supply to the apparel, schoolwear and home furnishings sectors. Our mission is to support our customers by providing generic and bespoke products at competitive prices, in full and on time.

Our history

The company started life as the elastic division of SA Trimmings in 1986 producing elastic and trims for the clothing and footwear industries. In 2011 was taken over by the current owner and has grown to be a major player in elastic and trims manufacturing in South Africa.

Manufacturing

We operate from a 3000m2 factory in Hammersdale KwaZulu Natal and employ 40 fulltime staff. We manufacture elastics and trims including: knitted and woven elastics, narrow woven decorative and functional tapes, drawcords, fancy trimmings, tassels, cotton fringes, interior décor & upholstery materials. Our products are Woolworths-approved and meet requirements of customers in the clothing manufacturing and funishings sectors who include Truworths, The Foschini Group (Volpes and Cotton Traders), Quiksilver, Roxy, Mr Price, Gomma Gomma and Grafton Everest. We customize and design elastics and trims to customers’ requirements and specifications.
